It’s a comprehensive professional education program designed to develop and validate expertise in the use of SDL Trados translation technology tools.
The SDL TRADOS Certification program is designed to help educate the SDL Trados user community on the latest technological developments and best practices in translation technology, terminology management and automated quality assurance checks.
There are 3 levels of Certification training offered to support the SDL TRADOS Certification program:

What are the requirements to get your team started with SDL TRADOS Certification?
- Own a legal, company-registered license(s) of SDL Trados 2007
- Your team should have practical knowledge of the Create Cleanse Maintain (CCM) Methodology
- Ask your team to take the Certification Placement Exam to determine each user’s level of expertise
- Based on placement exam results, the exam will suggest Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3
- Study / Prepare to pass the suggested level - SDL TRADOS Certification Training courses are highly suggested
- Successful completion of the Level 3 exam will award SDL TRADOS Certification Program. Each user will receive a link that can be displayed on their email signature/ website, as well as a Certification ownership card
